GENERAL:

The 'Active' style of Graphic Annunciators can handle extensive modifications right in the field without the need for a replacement panel. Here's how it work's: The Graphic display is printed with non-fading black ink on a transparent polyester film.
Zoning separations can be color-coded by shading each area with colored inks. This film is sandwiched between a 1/4" thick white P.V.C. backing panel and a 1/8" thick clear Acrylic cover. LED's mount through holes in the white P.V.C. and are wired to custom interface boards that will accommodate snap-in ribbon cables or individual wires.

The beauty of this modular design comes when there are changes; a service technician simply removes the clear Lexan cover and replaces the old film with a new film. All these changes can be done in the field.

GRAPHIC CONSTRUCTION:

  • Graphic attaches to face of Backbox via a piano hinge.
  • .125" clear Acrylic cover protects graphic artwork.
  • .250" white P.V.C. backing panel with holes drilled for Led's
  • Back ground color painted Simplex beige.
  • Red 'You Are Here'.
  • Artwork printed on a .010" polyester slip-sheet.
  • Metal Re-inforcing Angle is attached to perimeter of Graphic to stiffen.

ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • LED's: 10 ma and 20 ma optional.
  • Switches: Push Button & Toggle: 6A @ 28 VDC,
    Key 15A @ 28 VDC.
  • Resistors: 1.2K 1/2watt. and 2.4K 1/2watt.
  • Operating input voltage: 16-32 VDC.
