| GENERAL: The 'Active' style of Graphic Annunciators can handle extensive modifications right in the field without the need for a replacement panel. Here's how it work's: The Graphic display is printed with non-fading black ink on a transparent polyester film. Zoning separations can be color-coded by shading each area with colored inks. This film is sandwiched between a 1/4" thick white P.V.C. backing panel and a 1/8" thick clear Lexan cover (1/4"thk. for A-1824(F)(S) & larger sizes). LED's mount through holes in the white P.V.C. and are wired to custom interface boards that will accommodate snap-in ribbon cables or individual wires. The beauty of this modular design comes when there are changes; a service technician simply removes the clear Lexan cover and replaces the old film with a new film. All these changes can be done in the field. |
